The REI day was great success we have had 5 people come in from their exposure.

Patrick, unfortunately we do not have any plan right now to bring PNWPA instruction to Salem we would love to have PNWPA instructors in all the major cities in the northwest eventually but right now we don't have the staff or the resources to get that done. I am teaching a clinic in portland on the 21st of march at Crossfit portland it will cover MovNat which like parkour is descendant of Methode naturelle but perserves the emphasis on lifting, carrying, throwing, and defensive training as well should be tons of fun. We are also in talks to do another parkour seminar some time in the spring there. If there is anyone in your area who could host a seminar I would be happy to teach it.

I live in Salem, but I was up in washington visiting my dad, and we wanted to go rock climbing, so we went to REI, and lo and behold, we just so happened to see this presentation, and I got extremely excited! I mean, what are the chances! I'm with my dad for only 3 days, and the ONE day we go to REI, you guys have a presentation!!
Well, my friend and I have been extremely excited about doing parkour, but we have no idea how to begin.
Anyways, I was talking with one of the people there, and he said that the PNWPA was going to open a training program down here in Salem! This got me really pumped, and I was just wondering:
When the PNWPA was planning on opening training areas in Salem (or even just Oregon in general). I mean, does anyone know for sure when this is going to happen? Sorry if I sound naggy, I'm just so excited to have learned about this, and so was my friend!

That is a great idea. What a way to get people interested in parkour. We have a reletivly similer activity also. Harrison Lane, my other akparkour admin and I are doing a parkour demo and some explaining at Alaska Rock Gym; today as a matter of fact. Hope you had a great turn out. Couldent see why people wouldent be interested.
-Wish us luck!
