The Parkour Gym
A space of our own to teach, inspire, and play!
What it is:
A work in progress. It improves some way every day – just like we do through our training.
The gym is an expression of the amazing community surrounding parkour, an indoor training ground designed to grow in complexity and challenges as the traceurs inside grow in strength, skill, and confidence.
It houses our academy classes, bridges the gap to our outreach programs through events and sponsorships, and acts as the center of operations for our growing troupe of passionate volunteers.
Where it is:
1210 W Nickerson St Seattle, WA 98119 –get directions through google maps–
The gym is located on the north edge of Queen Anne near the intersection of 12th and W Nickerson St. It’s just East of the Ballard Bridge (15th) with bike access and on the 17 and 31 Metro bus lines (with more bus lines on 15th).
We currently just have the parking spots on the side of the building and the 3 directly in front of Greenhome only after 6pm or all day Sundays. More parking will be opening up soon but please use residential nearby instead of blocking any of the roll-up doors.
Your first class is always free if you preregister in our online system, please come a bit early though to say hello and print out a –Liability Waiver– if you can.
Open gyms are for experienced traceurs and our students only, everyone should come to a class for their first time!
More detail on classes and pricing in our classes section
Note: This calendar is for regular times, class cancellations or forced changes are always reflected in the registration system calendar
How you can help
Generally all of our operating expenses are covered by memberships but we usually need other funding sources for major gym improvements and to fund our outreach and scholarship programs. You can donate directly online, and we also manage an in-kind donation request list.
We simply wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for our community of awesome volunteers. If you are interested in giving time please fill out our volunteer survey.
