Kids Classes (ages 9-13)
Our Kids Classes are for children ages 9-13. This is our largest program and we offer multiple levels and types of classes within it. All students, no matter their movement background, begin in Level 1, where they will learn basic movement patterns foundational for both parkour and freerunning.
Many Level 1 students spend months or years mastering parkour fundamentals, and students who test into higher level classes often still come to Level 1 classes to work on polishing the skills at the heart of parkour and freerunning. Most students will need to dedicate time outside of class to developing the strength and skills needed for higher level classes. Classes last for 90 minutes are are heavily focused on instruction and guided application. For free time to play in the gym and practice techniques, come to Kids Open Gym on Saturday and Sunday evenings. You must attend your first free class before you will be able to participate in Kids Open Gym.
All students must complete a standard release of liability waiver in order to participate in classes. Parents: if you are sending your under 18 child to class for the first time without a parent, please download and complete the waiver to send with them or they will be unable to participate.
