Parkour Visions is committed to promoting the development of areas designed with parkour in mind. We offer design and consulting on a wide range of parkour-related projects, and we publish a free set of guidelines for outdoor parkour areas

We frequently collaborate with artists, landscape architects, and other design professionals on larger projects. A sample of our work is included below - click on a category to jump to it.

Parks

Parkour Visions is the North American leader in public parkour park development and design. We work with landscape architects, municipalities, and construction companies to create unique environments for parkour, fitness, and play.

Many park development and redevelopment projects can incorporate parkour elements. Even a parkour "dot" consisting of a few bars and a wall can activate an unused section of land or bring a new user group into a park.

Penzer Park - Langley, BC

We worked with the City of Langley and Marathon Surfaces to design this 10,000sf parkour park just south of Vancouver. The park is constructed from locally sourced yellow cedar and includes a 2-lane obstacle course, full rubber surfacing, and an in-ground trampoline.

Rhodes Park - Boise, ID

Rhodes Parkour Park takes advantage of an existing highway overpass to shelter the park from rain and sun. Timbers, bars, and cast concrete walls combine to form a unique area for movement. Seattle firm GGLO designed the park as a whole while Parkour Visions worked primarily on the parkour elements shown here.

Parkour Events

Parkour Visions creates pop-up parkour structures for events such as competitions, street festivals, and parties. Our designs are event-specific, and we also offer event staffing and talent recruitment depending on the needs of the event. Send us an email if you'd like to explore adding a parkour element to your event.

Competitions

With a good course, a parkour competition can be a thrilling event. We specialize in design for outdoor parkour competitions for a more authentic parkour feel. When possible, we try to use event sites with existing features that we can integrate with built equipment.

Pop-up Parks

We designed and built this pop-up parkour park for the Seattle Design Festival in collaboration with Turner Construction and LMN Architecture. The structure featured colored lines that formed paths users could follow - an accessible way to explore the concept of parkour.

Equipment & Sculpture

Parkour Visions designs and constructs parkour equipment for a variety of applications, from modular vault boxes for other parkour programs to custom play-focused sculpture for installations and public spaces.

"Clippy" - Pipe sculpture

We designed and fabricated this sculpture for an exhibit on "Extraordinary Playscapes" at the Seattle branch of the AIA. Clippy is made from 5.5" steel pipe and weighs about 650 lbs.

Custom Parkour Equipment

We design and manufacture bespoke equipment for parkour programs and facilities. Our specialty is modular equipment that can remain sturdy in many orientations and applications.
