Leap To Lead onboarding Program

Parkour Visions’ Leap to Lead curriculum aims to inspire confidence in coaches by preparing them to safely, effectively, and honorably represent themselves in the community.

Through our program you will:

  • Improve your leadership skills, whether you are new or experienced

  • Build your understanding of complex movements and body mechanics

  • Learn to teach students of a wide range of ages and skill levels

  • Gain experience in group management and safety

  • Develop your understanding of parkour skill, history, and philosophy through a lens of critical analysis on race, class, gender, and ableism

  • Connect with a community of coaches and leaders who support and inspire you

Program overview

 

All locations are accessible by public transportation.

  • Online Pre-intensive training: 1 session @2hrs

  • In-person training: 5 Sessions @6hrs/session

  • Independent/Group Exercises & Assignments: 5hrs

  • Final Application Event & Program Debrief: 3hrs
