Coach Jupiter (he/him)

Head Coach • jupiter@parkourvisions.org

A Portland native, Jupiter began his parkour training 11 years ago at Revolution Parkour. The same month, he broke his femur at a local park. Three months and several copies of Assassin's Creed later, he was back to training. The same year, he was coaching at his local gym, Parkour Infinity. From these humbling beginnings and ever after, Jupiter has seen his life, the world and everything as the parkour philosophers before him intended: “It’s about overcoming obstacles, whether they’re mental or physical.” Whether it was couch-bound gaming sessions, going to college for physics and physiology, filming and moving for parkour art projects, or building, breaking, and rebuilding his body to allow for a life of pain-free movement, he has always found his own way forward. Jupiter believes that everyone can, and he attempts to give others the simple yet universal tools to break down their fears and become the person capable of facing them.

In his free time, Josh loves playing guitar and drums and spending time with friends and family. Josh is also known to enjoy a steaming mug of chamomile tea before bed every night.

Dance & Parkour Coach • ellie@parkourvisions.org

Originally from Idaho Falls, Idaho, Ellie Toop is a contemporary dancer who is passionate about movement and exploration. She started dancing at the age of two and was classically trained in ballet for the majority of those years. She recently transitioned to contemporary dance and other forms of movement to embrace the freedom and artistry that dance offers. She currently dances in the trainee program of a professional company called Open Space in Portland, where she trains, rehearses, and performs in many dance pieces. She has worked with and performed works by many renowned professional dance artists and choreographers in multiple states. With the time that Ellie has outside of dance and work, she loves exploring new foods, spending time with loved ones, and of course being outside.
