A Successful Campaign for our 15-Year Anniversary

For our 15-year anniversary, PKV set the bold goal of raising $15,000 by December 20, 2022 to invest in our mission of helping people overcome barriers through movement and play. We received incredible support from new and returning community members and surpassed our goal!

Thanks to a small group of matching donors, the grand total of our 2022 end-of-year campaign was $30,182!

We are already hard at work, investing in:

  • Expanded programming, including free and low-cost classes in low-income and BIPOC communities,

  • Our team by increasing salaried positions and improving staff benefits, and

  • Scholarships for students and those interested in coaching.

We are proud to be the oldest parkour nonprofit in the nation. PKV is returning to our roots, deepening our connection to the outdoors, growing the PNW parkour community, and advocating for more inclusive play. We also have an eye to the future as we invest in sustainable, values-based programming and expanded career opportunities in parkour. PKV is a leader for inclusive movement and play in Portland, Seattle, and beyond.

PKV donors are diverse. They span the country and parkour community, including students, parents, practitioners, board members, and other anonymous givers. All told, 71 people donated to our 2022 end-of-year campaign:

PKV exists thanks to the work and contributions of many community members. Help PKV grow in 2023:
