Do you love playing outdoors? Are you conscientious, thoughtful, and a good role model for kids? If so, you're invited to apply to the Parkour Visions Summer Teen Leadership Program!

Teen Leaders accepted into the program must complete a free 2-hour Coaching Crash Course. After completion, you’re eligible to volunteer with one or more half-day camps (about 15 hours) for a $100 stipend per week.

What you'll get out of the program:

  • Proficiency with basic parkour movements and progressions

  • Practical experience with useful job skills like being on time, managing tasks, providing feedback, and creative thinking

  • Being a role model for youth that look up to you

  • How to lead movement games where students apply their parkour skills

  • Knowledge of child safety procedures for ensuring an excellent learning environment

  • Professional feedback and support from the Lead Parkour Coach you're assisting

Details:

  • Age: 14+ by the start of summer (younger volunteers will be matched with younger age group camps)

  • Experience: no prior parkour experience required

  • Must attend a 2-hour Coaching Crash Course (see application for dates)

  • Can assist one or more half-day summer camps for ages 6-12 (approximately 15 hours a week)

  • $100 stipend per half-day camp you assist

  • First come, first serve—early applicants will get top priority for assisting camps over the summer

FAQ

  • Volunteers will be working at ages 6-12 youth beginner or all-levels camps. We will not be accepting volunteers for intermediate or teen camps.

  • Volunteers may assist up to six half-day camps per summer.

  • We prefer volunteers sign up for direct deposit through Gusto. Direct deposit ensures you get the stipend as quickly as possible, directly into your bank account. If you are unable to do that, we can mail you a check.

  • No, the CCC is provided free of charge to prepare our Teen Leaders to volunteer at summer camps.

  • Teen Leaders must attend 3 out of 5 days. The stipend will be pro-rated accordingly.

  • Late applications will be considered if we still have space in the program.

  • All Teen Leaders are required to take the CCC to be eligible for the stipend. If you can't take the CCC but would still like to volunteer, please apply as a work trade volunteer.
